Canada Day
Show your community spirit at Party in the Park / Canada Day celebrations at the Waterfront Park. This annual event is held June 30/July 1, respectively. Party in the Park is a live music event on the Waterfront Stage on the evening prior to Canada Day. Canada Day celebrations are held mid-day on July 1st at the Waterfront Park with fireworks that evening.
Fall Fest
Each September, the Ear Falls Waterfront comes alive as the community gathers for the annual Fall Festival. The festivities begin with the much-anticipated Scarecrow Competition, where families and residents showcase their creativity by designing unique, themed scarecrows. Festival day is packed with fun for all ages, featuring craft activities, bouncy castles, family-friendly outdoor games, glitter tattoos, live music, and a delicious canteen. Be sure to visit the Small Business Market, where local vendors offer a variety of handcrafted items, baked goods, and unique creations. Whether you're joining in the activities, browsing the market, or simply enjoying the festive atmosphere, the Ear Falls Fall Festival is a community celebration you won't want to miss
Winterfest
Winterfest is held each March and offers a fun-filled weekend of activities for all ages. Children can enjoy a variety of exciting events while adults take part in the annual curling bonspiel. The weekend features a costume contest, paint-your-own wooden toys, a baking contest, a cribbage tournament, a family bonfire with canteen, and plenty of opportunities to make lasting memories. The festivities wrap up with the always-popular Cardboard Box Races, where participants compete for prizes for the fastest sled and the most creative design. Whether you're participating or cheering from the sidelines, Winterfest is a community tradition you won't want to miss!
