Attractions

Ear Falls is a gateway to many surrounding attractions. The area is well known for the English River system and Lac Seul are bountiful and make for a supreme fishing experience, and a healthy wildlife population provides exceptional hunting opportunities. It is also home to Wenesaga Lake and Pakwash Lake which are great fishing and tourism destinations.

Bald Eagles

Ear Falls is home to the largest returning nesting population of bald eagles in North America, and affords visitors and residents a unique opportunity to watch these majestic birds in flight. Check out the large nests they build on the shorelines of most waterways. 

Pakwash Provincial Park

Pakwash Provincial Park is located 19 km north of the town, and is home to a 1.5 kilometer long sand beach, campgrounds, nature trails, Aboriginal rock paintings and over 65 species of birds. They have options for camping in your camper (some with electrical connections) for the day, week or season, or in a tent on the beach. Some great options for a family getaway. 

Waterfront Park

While you are in town, stop at the waterfront park for a picturesque pit-stop. The site is a perfect place to stop to have lunch, spend the day, or just take in the scenery. There is a large beach, a playing field, a covered picnic area, and a large restroom facility with a change room and showers. The park also has ‘The Patricia’ on display. The Patricia is a freight boat that was built in the 1930s and has been fully restored.
