Ear Falls has an abundance of activities to suit any taste. Whether you feel like being outdoors or indoors, whatever the season, whatever the budget, Ear Falls has something for you to enjoy. Have a picnic at the waterfront, star gaze, perfect your golf swing or check out the wildlife.

There are hundreds of kilometers of shoreline, with stunning scenery ranging from sandy beaches and islands to secluded bays. Inland, you’ll find campgrounds and hiking trails among tall pine forests where bald eagles and other wildlife thrive.

Picnic Areas and Parks

There are a number of picnic areas and parks located in Ear Falls:

  • The Scott Street Sportsplex has two baseball diamonds, a covered picnic area, a seasonal restroom facility and a lighted sliding hill.
  • Lion’s Park is located on Balsam Avenue and has a sandbox , swings and play structures.
  • Calvin Fulford Park is located on Birch Drive and has swings, climbing structures, a large greenspace and a bicycle playground.
  • The Waterfront Park is located on Waterfront Road, off of Highway 105, provides a covered picnic area, a beach with a large swimming dock, beach volleyball court, public washrooms, a large greenspace and the historic “Patricia” freight boat.
  • Pakwash Provincial Park located 19 km north of Ear Falls has a large covered picnic area, a beach, a playing field, a playground and electrical and non-electrical campsites.
  • The Splash Pad is located at 2 Willow Crescent. Pack a picnic and settle in under the shade and enjoy the many accessible seating areas that make this a perfect summer hangout for everyone.
